Lis Kenneth Regula believes that working together in cooperation and collaboration is the key to efficiency and success. Whether it’s running a business, running a classroom or running for office, we are only successful when we appreciate the people who work alongside us. That’s why we’re highlighting our interns and volunteers, to show gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
Campaign Intern, Kendra Dempster-Walsh
Kendra Dempster-Walsh is working as one of the interns on Lis Kenneth Regula’s campaign staff. Originally from Toledo, Kendra is starting her senior year at Kent State this upcoming fall. She is majoring in Political Science and minoring in Nonprofit Studies.
When she’s not studying, Kendra enjoys volunteering for Kent State’s Super Service Saturdays and she is involved in the Women’s Center Mentorship Program. In the summer of 2013, she was chosen to be one of 19 high school students whose record of academic achievement earned them the opportunity to travel to India. The program offered Kendra the chance to teach English while studying the Hindi language. This trip overseas sparked her love for helping others, as well as her passion for traveling the world.
Kendra’s additional hobbies include hiking, writing short stories, biking, kayaking, swimming and camping. Kendra is also highly interested in local politics.
“I’m looking forward to helping Mr. Regula win this Auditor campaign,” Kendra says. “Lis Kenneth Regula is an honest, kind, compassionate person who is interested in helping all people.”
